This is one of those films where you cannot move out of your chair for the entire movie. The sound and picture is breathtaking and you really do feel as if you're in south American jungle. The way history has been transferred to screen is nothing short of genius and shows a tremendous sense understanding for how Mayan culture is portrayed.
It also sets off the viewers emotions such as the strong sense of fear at the beginning, hate and of course love for your family and friends.
If 1 word could sum it up, that word would be STUNNING
A real gem of a movie

really enjoyed the movie, brilliant storyline that has you gripped every minute of the way.
The film also holds great morals that you have to fight for your family and what you believe in, which of course should relate to all generations and film goers.
Not often i watch a movie and think ''wow'', but this is trully a masterpeice.
The picture and sound on bluray is the best i have seen so far and is proudly now in my collection.
I fully recommend this movie.

The quality of the picture in the Blu-ray version of this movie is immense!! You can see every minute detail and the opening scenes in the forest are stunning. Cinematography is excellent, with a story that keeps you gripped the whole way through. Well worth the money.
