Nacho Libre (Blu-ray)

Nacho Libre is a really funny movie. Being a Jack Black fan, I didn't take much convincing. I've given 5 stars, for this disc, however, only the movie deserves each one of those. I was a little critical of the Blu-ray transfer on first view, after seeing it again, my opinion has changed, it's pretty good. The colours are good as they should be, however, the picture at times loses its sharpness, however, it seems this maybe attributed to how the director has shot the scenes (focus etc). The movie is excellent, the extras too are great.

Yup, and in the extreme. I was not a Jack Black fan prior to seeing this movie for the first time earlier this year - thats now changed. The sheer daftness of it all combined with a raft of great characters and opponents of Nacho in and out of the ring make this quite unlike most other comedies out there. It's quirky, different, has loads of laugh out load moments and a great lead from Black, for these reasons it reminded me a little of Jim Carrey & dumb and dumber. I don't think it will be to everyones taste though.

This is one of my top movies, if you don't laugh at this there is something wrong with you!
