anyone interested in buying this film must already know the plot so ill just review the blu ray itself, the picture looks amazing on screen, this is one of the best blu ray transfers ive seen even for a 90's movie, the sound is equally impressive, the film also fits perfectly to the screen no black lines at 7 quid this is a bargain

  Awesome!!!

Great series of bug killing action packed full on fighting against the onslaught of bugs and destruction of the human race. If you want some gripping action. filled with gore and complete sweet ass stuff all the way through i recommend this. 5/5!!!

The thing that stands out in the BD version is the quality of the picture.
Although there is one scene that seemed to me that it was not BD. It's when they get in the ships for the landing. It could just be the green screen. The special effects in the movie are very good considering the movie is from 1998. The same cannot be said about the acting.
I had not seen it before and for 14 euros I thought I'd give it a go.
I was not disappointed. It is not however a movie to show off your movie theater, as the sound lacks the punch.

  Extremely good transfer, fantastic movie!

A sci-fi classic I have seen many times, I love Paul Verhoeven's movie like Total Recall, Robocop and Starship Troopers. Very intelligent movie, with amazing effects.

The transfer is really good, so even though you own it on dvd get it on Blu-ray.

  Blue Ray Review

I had this on American import on DVD and the soundtrack was amazing on a 5.1 set-up. I was a bit dissapointed with the Blue Ray as the sound just doesn't have the same impact that the DVD did. Considering this is a PCM uncompressed soundtrack I was expecting better, like Casino Royale for example, which is incredible. On the plus side the picture is great and much improved as you would expect from the DVD.

This is one of my favourite films of all time. While some may scoff at the acting (slightly wooden) you can't argue against the fact that you really grow to love the characters (except for Denise Richards, one of the worst actresses ever).

The CGI is first rate and has aged well making its blu-ray release that much better.

Its funny, its action packed and its one of those films that everyone should see before they die.
