Simply astonishing. This BD has wonderful imagery merged with great soundtrack. The image is sharp, clear and wonderful.
Please note that most of the content DO is 1080p, even if the box declares only 1080i.
Only downside: it contains only the english audio and subtitles, other languages would've been appreciated. Still a must buy if you own a full-HD screen and BD player.

This has got to be the ultimate reference piece for any owner of a blue ray player and a HDTV, I personally only have a modest set up with a Sony BDP-S350 and an Hitatchi Plasma screen.
However even with this set-up there is something to say wow to in every single scene I cannot wait for the Life boxset.
Well done BBC for a fantastic Blu-Ray, and play.com for your usual great service,.

I don't usually write reviews but i just wanted to correct the previous comment, because ALL 5 discs are blu ray. And all 5 are fabulous!
