Having grown up watching and loving the TMNT cartoon's and movies, I have a nostalgic love for all thing's TMNT. This movie is visually stunning. with a brilliant yet somewhat different take on the story.

As a lifelong fan of the Turtles, I've seen and own every film, the whole cartoon series from the 80s/90s, and played most of the games. This film sits right there among the best of the output.

On Blu-ray you have a great CGI action film with one of the best transfers I've seen yet. It looks as good to my eye as Avatar - itself an impressive piece of eye candy!

For 7.99 you can't go wrong with this, either as a fan, or as someone with kids to keep entertained.

Turtles back as good as ever

When I was a kid I thought the turtles were the coolest thing in the world. So I was excited about the new movie coming out, although to be honest I didn't expect to enjoy it like I used to but I did. This film is so much fun and excellent visually and in it's story. The running feud between Raphael and Leonardo was soooo cool.

  A true return to form

First of all the tech specs for the Blu-Ray, 1080p picture and Dolby TrueHD audio for the main feature with standard def picture and stereo sound for the special features.

The Blu-ray really does this film justice as it has to be one of the most technologically advance CGI films I've seen. The characters, landscapes and environments are all wonderfully detailed with great attention paid to details such as the rain falling on the turtles in one of the visually stunning fight scenes.

In regards to the movie I found it highly enjoyable. The story while being a bit on the mystic side for my taste was still engaging and had a lot to recommend it. The characters were what was expected and were well voice acted. Lots of famous voices such as Chris Evans, Sarah Michelle Geller, Mako, Kevin Smith and Patrick Stewart came together to really add voice talents that this movie deserved.

The special features on the disk are also well worth a look making this Blu-Ray great value for money.

Retains all the qualities of the original cartoons...

Went to see this film after seeing the frankly spectacular-looking trailer online & I was not disappointed.

Picking up a few years after the original cartoons and films were set, the turtles are in disarray; all leading seperate lives without the leadership of Leonardo, April & Casey Jones are dating, and a mysperious businessman is awating a planetary alignment to fulfil an ancient prophecy...

The CGI brings a whole new dimension to the Turtles franchise. The story is predictable but is in-depth enough to keep the action flowing and allow all the film to pay homage to all of the idiosyncracies that made the original cartoons so great. Unbelievable martial arts sequences, amazingly over-the-top bad guys, cheeky one-liners.

If you're a child of the 90's or just want to see the turtles brought into the 21st century, this film's for you...!
