The movie drags on and on about unnecessary events and side story...and..ugh..I don't care about any of it.
The only good scenes in this film are when Jack is stranded in Davy Jones' Locker and the final battle. The rest is pretty dull.
I can't believe I had high expectations for this film when I first went to see it in the cinema. It was like having Jack Sparrow come up to me and spit in my face. It was an insult and an embarassment to both Me, as a fan and film-goer and to the awesome characters in the Pirates movie, who have now been reduced to poor, cliche characters.
I swear, if they make any more...I am going to be so angry.
This is prime example of why I hate Disney. A complete sell-out of a company that just keeps making sequal after sequal for cash, nevermind what the fans want to see.
Don't even get me started on Pixar....
Anyway...as for quality of Blu-Ray, yeah, it was great. The open ocean scenes were incredibly clear, like looking out of a window out to the sea. The surround sound was excellent too, for example the rain in the final battle and the splash of the ocean was all around me when watching it. A credit to Blu-Ray.
For this movie, don't spend this amount of money on it. Buy it on DVD. This film is not worth any more than £10 at best, even if it is a two-disc.
