HDScape Sampler (Blu-ray)

As said in above reviews, very poor quality HD footage.
You only get 5 minutes of footage from each title!!! So in all you get around 35 minutes of very bad HD. Luckily I only paid £4.99 from a local shop, I wondered why it was so cheap!!!

Antarctic HD was the best of the lot, but not worth paying £4.99 for 5 minutes of footage.

Avoid

I was excited when i got this new disc after the long wait, impressed with some of the samples/visuals which appear in HD but for the most part looked SD. Too much movement and different angles for certain aspects, not a fan of the narrative either. Overall it had a couple good shots, but not something i would use to showcase blu-ray!

This must have been produced using some pretty earlier HD cameras. Resolution is average at best, and not a patch on BBC HD!!

Having waited eagerly for this disc to arrive, I couldn't wait to put it on and see true HD. Was I dissapointed....OH YES!! HD... my hat, some of the shots were good but most of them were rubbish, and some of the soundtracks were in 2.1 dolby. I went to the " Music" sample....the photography was laughable. I certainly won't be buying the full length versions. You can get better on SD.

I was bought this as a gift and when I put it on I was surprised to see the quality of the "HD" footage. The content is poor quality and definitely not HD, in fact as the other reviews on here state, it looks like SD. Not the best but then again for £4.99 its no major loss. If you are planning on getting this to show off your system like I wanted to........ Look elsewhere
