In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about his recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.

I have to say the harry potter movie saga started off a little woolie for me, but the last few films have really captured the essence of the books, with The Order of the Phoenix being the best one yet!
Graphically stunning on Bluray, and for only £3 more than the DVD version, well worth it. The Ministry of Magic building is beautifully created, and creative.
Whether you are new to the world of Harry Potter, or a die hard muggle, you will love this heart warming, and action filled film. (top price too play.com! well done muchachos!)

 Not the best potter

Looks and sounds amazing.
A bit too dark for a childrens film without much light relief, good though it is.
Obviously a must have for potter fans

 Another Potter!

Just watched this on Blu-ray at full 1080P, the picture quality is absolutely stunning. The detail in every scene is fantastic.

The movie itself? I'm not a HP fan, this was more of the same really, for me these movies promise so much and continually fail to deliver. Not sure if this is down to the books (which I haven't read).

HD Picture quality - 5 stars easily.

Top 100 DVD Reviewer

For my mind this is the best (so far) of the series to experience first in High Definition. The picture quality is gorgeous, a huge improvement over the DVD image (no pixellation). Skip straight to the chapter when Dumbledoo battles Voldepants, their magic mojo looks flippin brilliant.

There are also a fair few extras (with many not on the DVD version), mostly mini featurettes. I would like to see one of those 100 minute warts and all behind the scenes docs instead. Also, a focus on the adaptation to screen and the score would make a change. Anyway, can't quibble, if you like Harry Potter this is a fab Blu-ray to start your collection.

No for Blu-Ray on this one

It's much the same as the other entire Potter franchise. Potter meets Voldemort they give each other a kicking Harry wins & Voldemort will be back for a re-match. I would say purchase this one on normal DVD format and save around £10. There are only couple of scenes were it out shines.
