- DOCUMENTARY DANGEROUS DAYS: MAKING BLADE RUNNER A feature-length authoritative documentary revealing all the elements that shaped this hugely influential cinema landmark. Cast, crew, critics and colleagues give a behind-the-scenes, in-depth look at the film -- from its literary roots and inception through casting, production, visuals and special effects to its controversial legacy and place in Hollywood history.
Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) prowls the steel-and-microchip jungle of 21st century Los Angeles. He's a "blade runner" stalking genetically made criminal replicants. His assignment: kill them. Their crime: wanting to be human.
The story of Blade Runner is familiar to countless fans. But few have seen it like this. Because this Director Ridley Scott's own vision of his sci-fi classic. This new version omits Deckard's voiceover narration, develops in slightly greater detail the romance between Deckard and Rachael (Sean Young) and removes the "uplifting" finale. The result is a heightened emotional impact: a great film, made greater. Most intriguing of all is a newly included unicorn vision that suggests Deckard may be a replicant. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Is Deckard a replicant? As with all things in the future, you must discover the answer to find yourself

I had never watched the movie before so will give an honest reveiw, not a hater or a fanboy, so to speak.
the upgrade to blu ray is amazing, considering this is a 1982 movie, a real treat for a true fan. however, the story does get a little boring in the middle and i could not help but think that too much talking and not enough action was the dish of the day!.
however. some of the scenes and actng is immense and you have to be fair and look at this film being an original concept, along with The Terminator, so you have to guve it credit for breaking the mould. it fits into its genre nicely.
to conclude, if you are a fan, then buy this, if your new to the movie, rent it first and then make up your mind as to whether its a keeper.
hope this reveiw helps

this movie has been around for several decades...and it still hasn't gone extinct, the tone is so dark, it is one of the most depressing films ever comitted to film. but also it's just too slow, nothing happens to grip the viewer, you watch in hope for things to pick up but they just don't. the quirky visuals and the noir style can't help redeem what is essentially the worst ridley scott movie movie, and the most overrated ever made.
Classic movie just got better

Top 10 DVD Reviewer
I think this Blu Ray Final Cut edition was a superb addition to my collection. This is certainly different enough to buy again if you have any of the other versions on DVD. The HD really added to the feel of the city, and as I had not watched it for a few years now, the new cut made it feel almost like a different movie. If you have not seen it before, highly recommended, and if you haven't seen it in years worth a revisit!
