This is one of the best blue ray transfers I have seen. Video and audio are excellent, I can only imagine there must be a problem with the previous reviewer's player. If you like musicals Chicago on blue ray willl blow you away. It is also worth mentioning there are some really good extras on the disc.
Bought this on Blu Ray as we had already seen the show, got the DVD, and we wanted the best version available. All I have to say is I'm totally disappointed. The film is still great, and the detail is very very good, but this can often be hard to see through the grainy, dotty image on almost the whole film. A real shame, but don't let me put you off, the film itself is great and sounds great.
It IS in fact rather grainy sometimes, but all in all that's pretty much the only shortcoming there is.
Otherwise the picture quality is stunning! This is truly a must have for any chicago fan :)

extremly good film - storyline draws you in.
as for the HD transfer for the Blu-Ray edition = not the best iv'e seen but pretty good none the less.
