Great film let down by poor sound

I've just bought the steelbook version of this, having previously owned the DVD. The picture quality is great, as you'd expect. Unfortunately the film is still dogged by poor sound levels. I must've adjusted the volume at least 30 times during the film - and even had to put subtitles on for some of it. Very disappointing - though not wholly unexpected to be honest.

  THET BEST JUST GOT BETTER..

ok lets start with the steelbook..its not engraved but its well made and has decent artwork inside and out..
the picture has been much improved over the dvd its not perfect but where i always thought the dvd carried way to much grain for a movie of this calibur its been cleaned up nicely for the bluray and could only spot a couple of scenes that were not upto scratch..
the sound also works well and comes through the 5.1 channels well especially with the robbery and fire fight..
as for the extras theirs several docs and a few additional scenes nothing special there..
carries subs for all of europe..
all in all am happy with the purchase and would recommend to any steelbook collector..
p.s. if you havent seen this movie you need to deniro and pacino on top form..hope this helps..
