This film is good if your looking for a reasonably enjoyable way to pass the time but i would not recogmend this film if your actually looking for a decent film to watch many times.

Superbad is a very funny movie with a surprising amount of heart involved. There are plenty of gross-out jokes and crazy characters (how can you not love McLovin) but its the friendship between the lead characters which makes this movie a cut above similar movies.

The Blu-Ray transfer is very decent although to be fair its not really the sort of movie which is going to benefit from crisp visuals.

All the extras are here, cast audio commentary, deleted scenes, bloopers etc...

Well worth a purchase.

Not very good, makes the american pie trilogy look like classics.

This is not teh sort of film that will warrent the extra cash spent on teh Blu Ray.

But this really should be a DVD purchase - Upscale it on your blu ray player if you want!!

to sum up this film in one word would be....hysterical.
I think its's DEFINITLY an acquired taste though if u dont mind the constant barrage of crude sex refs's, den u will wont mind it so much.
If u have a sick sense of humor and are in the male age of 15-30 something den u will LOVE THIS.

my mates said i should get this because its funny i rented it out in blueray never saw a differnce and thought it was terrible laughed 1 or twice not my cup if tea

funny from start to finish. a film you can watch over and over again.

This is one of the funniest teen based comedies out for a long time. Funnier then the first American Pie (which was great back in the day!!) and brings a new spin on the life of young American males.

Everyone i have recommended it too have thanked me and is a worthwhile purchase on Blu Ray and DVD.

At the end of the day its about your comedic tastes but if you dont laugh at the Steven Glansburg line or "people dont forget" you might as well turn off the BD/DVD Player and get back to playing "Risk", someone is about to invade your territory!
