John Wayne gives one of his best performances and Bruce Derne makes a hateful villain but children taking violent revenge will be morally questionable to many people. Robert Carradine and A Martinez make impressive debuts as young cowboys.
this is a great blu ray transfer, for how old the film is. up there with the likes of zulu. more duke on blu, please
Can someone tell me which subtitles you can choose for this bluray or doest it havy any?

Bought this for my mum for christmas and thought id have a cheeky look before xmas and WOW the quaility of the picture is immense.
A very good story aswell one of john waynes best films........
A great performance by John Wayne in one of his later films and refreshingly non pc. This could not be made now. Excellent colour and sound make this a must have blu ray if you like westerns.
