Rio Bravo (Blu-ray)

being a duke wayne fan for the last 18yrs i am always looking for the best quality in picture and sound of a john wayne movie. last year i bought the newly released version of the searchers on bluray. it was and still is the best transfer onto bluray of any old movie i have ever seen, which came as a surprise that this classic duke movie isnt the same, instead what you get is a copy that is no better than the dvd version. no great digital transfer as it states. many years i had the old vhs version, then i a much improved dvd version. i would stick at that if i was anyone else. if you are expecting something in the lines of the searchers great bluray transfer then you will be disapointed. i am giving it 5 stars based on the fact that this film is a masterpiece of cinema and should belong in any john wayne fans collection.
