Quentin Tarantino presents The Man With The Iron Fists, an action-adventure inspired by kung-fu classics as interpreted by his longtime collaborators RZA and Eli Roth. Making his debut as a big-screen director and leading man, RZA-alongside a stellar international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu-tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all. Since his arrival in China's Jungle Village, the town's blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create elaborate tools of destruction. When the clans' brewing war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. As he fights alongside iconic heroes and against soulless villains, one man must harness this power to become savior of his adopted people.

Blending astonishing martial-arts sequences from some of the masters of this world with the signature vision he brings as the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan and as one of hip-hop's most dominant figures of the past two decades, RZA embarks upon his most ambitious, stylized and thrilling project to date.

Great movie, very entertaining from the stylish and bloody open sequence to the bloody finale, great story jam packed with classic martial arts scenes and styles from different types of movies from over the years, the cast was great, RZA does an awesome job at directing and starring as the man with the iron fists, Russell Crow was a big surprise he is very good, Lucy Liu is great to watch as always, and the rest of the cast was great too, its jam packed with gory fights and death scenes and the cool brass body assassin, this movie is very original and so much fun, if you love films like kill bill and wild over the top martial arts movies this is a must see, great soundtrack too and great features and good picture quality.

it does what it says on the tin.

dont be fooled like me..when i first saw the trailer for this i thought yea this looks good a new movie made to look like an old school kung fu movie..shore i knew with tarantino on board this would be something a little different..but i wasnt prepared for a bunch of actors that have all been waisted and looked like they really didnt want to be there as the acting was very bland..shore russel crowes entrance to the film is the best bit but after that its all down hill..the storys very week and doesnt give you nothing to sink your teeth into.. before you know it the movies finished before it had a chance to get going..
even the kung fu looked week and cheap..
all in all there are a few references to some old school kung fu movies which i did appreciate as im a big fan of the old school..
trust me rent before you buy this movie is not as good as the trailer makes out..

Being a fan of kung fu b-movies i wouldn't recommend it!

I'm a fan of old kung-fu movies, 70's exploitation and grindhouse, but this was terrible. Even worse than a large number of b-movies from the same genre this is pretty poor, and to be honest i blame it on the self-indulgent RZA, who i believe starred, wrote, produced and 'composed' songs for the film. It felt like it was written by amateur's and some the acting was so bad it wasn't even laughable. I expected over the top, unnecessary fun with a couple of good one liners, but all i came out with was disappointment. There's far better modern action/kungfu movies out there, do't waste your time.
