Ratatouille (Blu-ray)

Man, this film is so jokes, i could not stop laughing, it was sooo funny, i really enjoyed this film, and its not a film that is not just for kids, everyone can watch this film. U Have to buy this film, and buy this film hd, also this may be the best pixar film along with toy story in terms of graphics.

Another delicious concoction from the ever-reliable Pixar, this time making a highly successful fist out of a rather dodgy story premise - a rat who yearns to be a leading Parisian chef. Once you get past the fact that there's a rodent loose in the kitchen, this turns out to be a beguiling combination of strong characterisation, and stunning production design, even though it is perhaps a little soft on the all-out mad laughs. Once again, it's Pixar's attention to gorgeous detail that makes it all such a delight.

Needless to say, it looks astounding on Blu-ray too, but then Pixar does benchmark work in this format.

This film will entertain everyone it has great characters and the animation is very well considered. For the kids this will be a hit as might be expected furry animals cutey chunky rats etc etc. The visuals will have the tech heads feeling giddy with excitement as the detail is awesome as well as the sound. Your Blu Ray will upscale a dvd to 1080p but when buying films with heavy CGI or animation they should be Blu Ray for maximum jaw drop entertainment.

I've wanted to see this film for a while, and got around to it yesterday.
Wow, firstly the quality of the animation is stunning and the Blu-ray really does it justice. I'd go as far as saying just watch this film for the Blu-ray experience! the film itself is filled with great characters, and a story that is well paced and can be enjoyed by all ages. Highly recommended, Pixar have done it again. Brilliant.

Certainly one to show off your big screen plasma/LCD.

The picture quality [Mine is via a PS3] is amazing, and the detail is jaw dropping, one scene shows the character's stubble, it looks real....animation has made great advances.

As to the story, its all ridiculous of course, but its a funny, yet touching tale, that will please people of all ages.

What a wonderful movie this is. Notwithstanding the storyline being outrageously hilarious and improbable, it is all so completely believable, as little Remy scurries around, taking control of Gusteau's heir by the hair to create culinary delights!

The detail on this movie is simply breathtaking. I cannot believe that technology has come so far. The fur-coats on the rats are nothing short of amazing. Many times in the film I had to hold my breath as one marvel after another unfolded on this disc.

We received this disc yesterday, but it is already on its' fifth showing and we still get the 'wow' factor every time we slip it into the BD-Player.

I have read somewhere here on the reviews that there are problems with this disc playing on Samsung 1400's...but I have no problem whatsoever.

Coupled with the now legendary PLAY.com service, this is a must-have.

Good film, just shows that without pixar Disney are nothing.

I got this film about two weeks ago now and I'm still dieing to watch it over and over again. Everything is crisp and clear, from the one single hair on a rat or human head hair, to the sky and building landscape's. Just truly amazing, not to mention the film has a really good story line. I won't be telling you, as it would spoil the movie, but i can say its a well easy to pick up story. Its not boring, its just funny and stunning to watch with your family. You will not be unhappy with this film if you bought it today.
