I think I'm probably the first to review this on blu-ray. Having just watched this on my PS3 & my Samsung 37" tv, hooked up via HDMI to my Onkyo TX-SR605 Amp...what can I say! This is one of my favourite M. Night Shyamalan's movies outside of 'The Sixth Sense' & 'Unbreakable'. Aside from a few white speckles on the print, the transfer is excellent, with deep blacks & rich colours. The level of new detail visible is a revelation compared to the Standard dvd release. Apart from an outstanding video presentation, the 5.1. PCM Uncompressed soundtrack is terriffic, with deep booming bass and crystal clear dialogue. The enveloping surround sound keeps all the speakers active...checkout the nighttime scene in the cornfield....Awesome! Yes, there is a hint of grain visible & a few minor blemishes, but nothing to detract from my enjoyment of this superbly acted & very atmospheric & scary movie. This comes most Highly recommended on blu-ray.

M. Night Shyamalan best movie, no doubt in my mind, this is full on, near the end of the seat thriller, the way he did the movie just amazing, the movie is quiet yet chilling at the same time, times you don't expect stuff and it happens, totally will written and directed, a must see.
