Review

A group of brilliant scientists have developed a form of psychotherapy with the invention of a machine which enables a person to enter anothers' dreams. When the device is stolen by a "dream terrorist," it is up Atsuko Chiba, a scientist under the code name Paprika, to track down the apparatus and save the world from madness.

I got this film on blu-ray and trust me it wasnt a mistake the picture is a great cinema tester, the fine details in the image give a good sense of clarity and depth of picture.
Now the story is crazy this is art house anime at its best it will play with your mind right untill the end but you wont be disapointed as the twists and turns in the story keep you hooked, to sum up this is a visual masterpiece and a film which certainly deserves a watch, just make sure you pay it your full attention!

I've got this film on DVD and it is an amazing piece of imaginary storytelling. Captures the bizarreness of dreams (that i'm sure we've all had at some point) and infuses it with reality. The animation is breathtaking as you'd expect from the guy who brought us perfect blue and as such you can expect a story that keeps twisting daring you to keep up.

Well worth a watch and warrants a purchase if you're into your manga or animation.

I doubt there's much difference between the dvd and blu ray versions but with the blu ray version being good value for money on play, I'd have to recommend the blu ray hands down.
