  Great film, Faulty sound.

I run a 11:2 sound system at home. This film is great, but my copy had a faulty sound track. Does any one else have the same problem with this 2 disc edition on the Extended Directors cut.

this new version outshines the original by a mile.. so much better. The first time i saw the old version, though it was was chessy , thought Arnie can not act , he's better as a robot in terminator, and it just got silly in the end. This new version was totally opposite, action packed and exciting, usually originals are best, this time it was the other way around...

  Excellent

Probably one of the best sci-fi films of the past few years....it is not a remake of that awful Swarzenneger film thank god, but a movie inspired by the original story "We can remember for you wholesale" by Philip.K.Dick. A cracking film, ignore the bad reviews just sit back and enjoy it, amazing effects a must have....

  Totally Recalled

I have to be honest, when I first heard about a Total Recall remake I had a wave of dread wash over me, remakes rarely turn out much good in my opinion. TR, however, isn't that bad... it's not brilliant, but not not bad. The worst thing about it, for me, is that there's no "Mars" in it, Mars has for some bizarre reason become "The Colony", or as we know it, Australia - and you have to pass through the Earth's core to get there... weird.

Other than that, I can't really fault it too much, it's really typical of todays "action" genre, lots of shooting, fighting and explosions, and it's all done well. The actors are great, the female one's especially are more kick-ass than the one's in the original, again in my opinion.

Just go in to it with an open mind, esp. if you're a fan of the original, and I think you'll like it.

  Rubbish. Give it a miss

If I could have given it no stars, I would have. It should never have been called a remake as its not set on Mars and is nowhere near as good as the original. Watch Marvel Avengers Assemble instead, way better.

Modern retalling of an old classic.
Fantastic visual effects. Great acting. Fast paced. Action packed.
I loved this film and so did my partner who is a die hard Arnie fan.
Dont compare it to the original, this stands in its own right.

Not Arnie But Not Bad Either!!!!

No it's not a frame for frame rework, the story has changed but it is equally ridicules, well paced, fast action, good CGI in a word good fun!
