funny enough i still remember the time when people were saying that carrie anne moss is gonna be BIG ;) well Silent Hill 2 (one of the worst movie sequels ever) is definitely not the case... bad movie, really bad movie... sad cause part 1 was a very decent piece of cinematography...

  Great follow up!

i thought this movie was well worth the wait. It follows nicely from the first and doesn't leave you wondering what the hell happened. it ends nicely too I thought for another.
Resident evil has managed some very good story follow ups and I see no reason for Silent Hill not to continue as long as the stories remain well written and a strue to the games as the first and in parts this one too. if you enjoyed the first one. This will not disappoint!

I am a longtime fan of the Silent Hill games so when the first movie came out I was excited and loved it. Six long years pass and finally a sequel that isnt bad at all. Based on Silent Hill 3 this film has enough jumpy bits to keep you on your seat, not quite to the edge as it lacks something of what made the first movie stand out. It feels very enclosed too compaired to the first one, restricting itself I dont know if this was down to budget reasons but it could have been a five star. Bottom line if you love the games your will either love or hate this one there wont be a happy medium.

The original silent hill was a brilliant and near faithful conversion into a movie with a great story and a very freaky and nightmarish visual concept that a lot of horror movies lack these days making it a rather original and very enjoyable romp, revelation is part two of the story set several years later with several characters returning, the story I thought is a good direction to go and it carries on the nightmare very well with a quality budget of spooky dark visuals like the original had and some cool new monsters as well as some of the classic ones from the original, silent hill has some unfinished business to take care of, if your a fan of the original you should really enjoy this for what it is, it has had some very negative reviews which are undeserving, its not a masterpiece but its by far not the worse film this year! Great fun check it out!!!
