Colonel Gerard K. Brauchman (Slater) leads a team of isolated astronauts on board the ARK moon base. When a meteor collides with their base, the astronauts find themselves in immediate danger spores from the meteorite can replicate, reproduce and mutate human cell structure, leaving everyone on board to fight for their lives. Stranded is directed by Oscar nominated Roger Christian; the creative mind behind Star Wars and Alien.

 Stranded and out of pocket!

As the previous reviewer stated the film itself is appallingly cliched and poorly executed and there is nothing original or even remotely convincing about the acting.
Model space station situated on the moon looks like the Clangers lived there (was it constructed with egg cartons?)..simply dreadful.
Dreary sets and dull repetitive dialogue actually made me doze about halfway through.
See Alien,Event Horizon and Moon,as every aspect has been done here before and better.
Christian Slater must have taken the entire budget for this dross.
Please don't waste your money here!!!!

Where to begin, the external sets look they are from early Thunderbirds but cheaper. This was a let down from start to finish, the slow pacing trying to create atmosphere only succeeded in sending me to sleep.
The second viewing (coffee fuelled) was a mistake too, simple story line made worse by the terrible acting, the only fear i felt was that i may not be able to get my money back from abortion of a film.
