Meet Buraki, the vicious, 200-meter long Imoogi serpent from ancient Korea. His army includes giant lizards with missile launchers, flying dragons, soldiers bred for evil and mega-intelligent dinosaurs. Together, they will destroy Los Angeles and possibly the world unless reincarnated warriors Ethan and Sarah can outrun them and resurrect the Good Imoogi, Buraki's ancient nemesis. Dragon Wars reveals every last detail of Earth's greatest battle... a war you'll only believe when you see it for yourself.

 sounds great but very dull

I managed to catch this in the US last year but found it the worst film I'd watched in years. Passable CGI and some clever ideas but its put together very badly. Poor direction and poor acting (some of the smaller parts could have played better by passers by). It all becomes very boring after 20 minutes.

5 star Action 1 star Acting

as the title says, action good, acting bad.
to be fair, the actors didnt have much to work with, the script should have been burnt. if no one spoke in this film, it may have got 4 stars.

if you watch films for explosions and CGI, your ok.
if you watch films for deep storylines and complex characters, go buy a proper korean movie (oldboy, exiled, a bitter sweet life etc)

il leave you with this, it may help you decide if you will like the film, picture the scene:
the FBI decide there off to go catch someone.
they march out the office into the hall way.
theyre joined by others from other offices as they march down the hall way.
one of these guys is carrying a shot gun, he cocks it ready for action.......
end scene.

how did they know to go marching out the office at the same time?
do people in the FBI all have shotguns under their desks?
are you allowed to just cock a weapon while walking through an office?
why would you cock the weapon? there were no bad guys about, they were just going to the car.
nuff sed!

 Ooops

I bought this and really really wanted to like it. I tried so hard to like it. When the back of the box boasts "Dragon Wars is a $75 million dollar movie", I wuld have at least thought they may spend some of that on someone who can act. Its not just one or two bad actors though, its all of them!! CGI interaction is apalling. The CGI dragons are passable, just, and the story is---well, has more holes than swiss cheese. If you make one mistake, dont let this one be it. Can honestly say its the worst film I've ever seen (no exaggeration)

This is a fantastic film, forget godzilla and king kong and all them boring giants, dragon wars is bigger than them and more fun!! Simple story and wild effects make this film so much fun to watch, its like a classic monster movie. This film is a gem!!!!
