This film is my all time favorite, when I see it come out on blu-ray I though gr8 I have got to have it.
But boy am I disappointed it just like watching a normal DVD I feel I have been ripped off, I mean if you take enter the dragon for example they made that in blu-ray and HD-DVD and the picture and sound was amazing and that was made in 1973 so why is this so crap for picture quality, if you want my opinion get it on normal DVD and save your self a lot of money you wont be disappointed that way. it is a 5 out of 5 film tho.

Still a great movie and worthy of being released on the Blu-ray format. However, this high definition version shows up all the slightly out of focus shots that originally went unnoticed in the standard definition version. This is of course completely understandable considering VHS was the leading format when this movie was originally released.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Bluray is High Definition? So it's not High Def. quality

It's better quality than Predator Special Edition DVD. But it shouldn't be called Bluray. Sound is great but image is terrible (in 70% of movie). It's not worth to buy in my opinion.

For a film of this age, and not an outstsanding title ,i was pleased with this transfer. There are a few scenes that are grainy ,but only a few,the jungle scenes look very good and the sound is first rate if you have the correct set up.Not a demo disc, but a very good copy of this film if you are a fan.

i agree with henno 1 about the state of this release i was looking forward to this the moment it was announced for release , Sat down with my nuts ready to eat & after 20 minutes of watching i was getting very angry at the quality of the picture & sound ; in comparison my DVD version is visually better with no grain & ware , i do believe that this print is from the original master & not from the re-mastered cleaned up version: Very Disappointed in fOX if this is how they are going to treat a classic then i dread to see the quality of the Alien franchise WHEN they come Out .

this film was made the same year i was born, and i remember the first time i saw this. i was 11 years old, and because i was a HUGE arnie fan, i just had to see this. so i stayed up late just to watch it. and iv never seen a film like it since. well this blue ray version will blow you away, and it makes a masive impact if you have surround sound aswell. the sound is unbelieveable. this is a MUST for anyones collection. the texture of everything you see is great, some shots are bitty, but thats how it should be in that sence. loved every second of it as i did the first time i saw it! 21 years old and still kicks as :-) oh and some of the best jokes and one-liners ever! buy it....now!!

your hit, your bleeding man!

i aint got time too bleed! :-)
