This is not a great horror movie but i think it deserves to be called a good one. The acting and horror scenes are average and the end twist average aswell but this is still an entertaining movie to watch for a reason that i can't think of, it just is. 3 stars from me.

Sorry to be so negative, the film itself is average (3 stars). But the quality of it on Blu-ray was appalling, i have a 42" 1080 new hdtv and every dark shot was fuzzy, hell even the light scenes had fuzz.

Believe it or not, the dvd would be a better option.

This film like 'Blair Witch Project' has been highly criticized. Shrooms is not really that bad of a film. The film is very experimental, and is shot with a unique style. The film is more commercial than 'Blair Witch Project' which makes it less of a cult film. But this is a great experimental film, seeing what works with the audiences. The film is a refreshing look at the horror genre, which is dominated by gore. Shrooms manages to be somewhat scary without showing anyone actually getting killed.

This film is a good buy and definitely worth a watch, especially if you liked 'Blair Witch Project'. But I'll let you decide which one you think is better!

not the best movie in the world, and my first Blu ray movie, a revewer compared it to the blair witch on speed, well for me it made me think of The Hole at the end, i quite enjoyed it but tbh, its a rental, not somthing that i'd watch more than once.

This movie was my first Blu-ray movie, so seeing it in HD was quite cool, however, the storyline was interesting to say the least, as it's basically about a group of people planning to take drugs. Hence it probably doesn't appeal to everyone, it was quite "freaky" at parts (in a scary way) but generally the film wasn't what I'd call scary. It's quite average, but at the same time, it's not bad either.
