The Bucket List stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in a touching story about friendship, family and finding the joy in life.

Edward Cole (Nicholson) is a corporate billionaire who is currently sharing a hospital room with blue-collar mechanic Carter Chambers (Freeman). Though initially the pair seems to have nothing in common, conversation gradually reveals that both men have a long list of goals they wish to accomplish before they 'kick the bucket'. But one can't accomplish such lofty objectives from the confines of a hospital bed, so now in order to live their lives to the absolute fullest Edward and Carter will have to make a break for it!

When I heard that Jack Nicholson and Morgon Freemen two of my all time favourite actors were going to star in a film together, I just knew it was going to be something rather special indeed. The film is about two men who meet in a hospital as they share the same room together. To begin with they aren't to fond of eachother, as time goes by Morgan Freemen starts talking about a list of things he would love to do befor he dies etc. Jack Nicholson soon realises that they have a lot more in common then he first thought and because he is very wealthy, he then decided to go through their bucket lists for real.
This is where the film really becomes touching and such a joy to watch. What a fantastic journey they both have and become very close friends from totally different walks of life. The Bucket List really reminds me why I got into movies so much in the first place and should not be missed by any serous movie lover. I can't wait for my Blu-Ray copy of the Bucket List to arrive in the post from play.com which is very soon!

Very light, not as funny as it looked in the trailers, not as serious as it wants to be. Jack is good as usual, Freeman seems to be getting very repetitve. Total time pass.

 Amazing film!!

This is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. It is both funny and touching.

It is about how 2 men from very different walks of life meet in a hospital cancer ward. At first they dont talk much but as time goes by they get to know each other better. Then when both are given less than a year to live they decide to embark on what they call the bucket list, a list of things to do before you "kick the bucket" lol.

It takes them across the world and along the way Morgan Freeman teaches some lessons on what truly is important in life, like family and Jack Nicholson gives Morgan Freeman the opportunity to fulfill dreams he felt he missed out on in his younger life.

Unmissable!

 Sentimental Tripe

I just found this rather tedious and boring. The storyline especially the relationship between Nicholson and his grand-daughter in was so predictable. Freeman and Nicholson tried to breathe some life into their characters but the film made me want to kick the bucket.

one of those it could happen films
