Assembly (aka: Ji Jie Hao) (Blu-ray)

Subtitles are easy to follow, looks good on blu-ray, lots of action and good pace with a rewarding ending. Not a film you can watch too often but a good rainy day flick once in a while.

You will not want to pause this film, just watch it right through.Its battle scenes are just as good as any action scene on Saving Private Ryan or Band Of Brothers, based on a true story you really start to empathize with the hero and hope he can succeed in his quest of reconition for his men.
The sound and visuals are breath taking looks great on blu-ray.
Blu-rays are too expensive at the moment but £10.99 makes this a rare gem that is worth the cost.

Excellent War film , Action all the way for the first 3/4. Nice Blu ray transfer, good clear detail also DTS soundtrack, the subtitles do not distract at all, recommend highly

This is both an example of just how influential chinese cinema has become as well as reflecting how mediocre Hollywood can be today.
Assembly is a film that hits all the right strings, at once engaging our deepest feelings when we relate to the characters while being visually shell-shocked at the organized mayhem we call war.
I cannot rate this film too highly and look forward to to the rise of the dragon that is chinese film
