Top 10 DVD Reviewer

Based on the novel Babe by Dick King-Smith, The Water Horse is set in Scotland during World War II, and tell the story of a young boy, Angus (Alex Etel), who discovers an egg near Loch Ness. The egg hatches in to what looks like a baby dinosaur, and turns out to be a mythical Water Horse.
Sunday family entertainment at it's best. You really can't go wrong with this one. It reminds you of a fifties adventure film like Lassie. Very predictable story, but hey, it's for kids, and despite a relatively slow pace, the film does manage to avoid adults looking at their watches all the time. I guarantee you this will be on the BBC for years to come. It's just their type of family film.

i nearly bought this film on 'dvd' but changed my mind a few days before it was due to be sent, so glad i did, the visual and sound effects on 'blu-ray' are well worth the extra spends.
the film ? ...charming, delightful, funny, magical, sad, with great scenery and under-water shots that 'blu-ray' really enhances ect, ect, ect.....did i mention 'brilliant' ?
seriously, this is a lovely family film, hugely entertaining and a must for the kids.
the story is set during the 2nd 'world war'.
the location ? 'lochness' of course, where else ?
a young boy 'alex' searches through the 'rocks' and 'pool's' on a beach close to home for any rocks or pieces of interest, he comes across a strange looking and large object, it turns out to be an egg,
the journey begins....
please don't miss out on this, on whatever format you choose.
