Following on from Batman Begins, director Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale reunite for The Dark Knight.
With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

the dark knight is an instant classic. mr bale will hate me saying this but it isnt by chance that heath ledger is on front of the box as he is mesmerising as the joker, there is genuine menace and madness in this performance. brilliant

I watched Begins the day before on Blu Ray and both were outstanding.
The effects and story and quality of the picture were just amazing.
I'm not usually a fan of DC and Marvel films but this was just amazing!
Highly recommend!

batman the begining was good - 4 stars for me but nothing amazing The dark knight however is amazing the fantastic role heith ledger plays is a work of genius. im not a massive fan of the batman movies but this one however i loved. Iit is a long film but in my opinion not too long as its full of action and each scene is played very well with the varies actorssuch as morgan freemen, michael kane, heith ledger and christian bale
