The Nightmare Before Christmas (Blu-ray)

Outstanding work from the genius behind new stopmotion feature Coraline. Henry Selick is the perfect visionary director and really did well with this film. It's a shame people think Tim Burton had anything more to do with the film than writing the story and drawing the initial character designs.

Yes, the blu-ray contains dts 5.1 ind spanish (castilian), italian german and french. I´m from spain and that's why i bought it.

The image quality is almost perfect: One of the best i´ve seen, i can´t judge the audio quality because i listen to it trough my tv, no home cinema.

The only bad thing i found is tha the special features are almost the same found in the dvd edition launched (at least in spain) years ago, and they are not in an hd quality, that´s the only reason why i give only 4 stars to this edition, the rest is perfect.

I have always loved NBX and this is just the perfect part of my blu ray collection....I bought NBX well I was bought it when i was 5 years old when i used to watch my videos in my parents room when they watched their shows at night, then onto dvd which was ok but having it on blu ray just brings back so many memories of me sitting there not saying a word for an hour and 20 mins lol (and i was a very hyper kid lol still am :D) but imust say even if you never seen this film buy it becuase i sure as hell am gonna bring my kids up on this film and hope they do the same for their kids too.

A true gem. brilliant animation, matched with timeless tunes and quite possibly some of the most bizarre characters brought to life. The picture and sound quality is superb which makes for a wonderful movie.... come on Mr.Burton... we want more!
