Evil Dead 2 was one of my fave horror of the eighties, tongue in cheek, cheesy/cool dialogue and buckets of OTT bloody effects - I loved it!

The Blu-ray is a little disappointing, though, as the transfer doesn't greatly improve the picture quality. There are actually LESS extra features than the DVD release, maybe they are holding back until a steelbook special edition is released - I hope so.
The 5.1 audio is good.

Bruce, you are the man!

  Poor Transfer

I would disagree with the previous reviewer it doesnt have anything to do with the tv that you have the transfer of this film is poor. There is nothing blu ray about it the film is as grainy as ever when you compare it to the blul ray transfer of army of darkness it looks like a poor video.

In short awesome film but very poor transfer.

Ive always loved this film but this blu-ray does it no justice, its covered in grain and way too dark in places,im sure ive seen this film on the sci-fi channel looking much better years ago.I have a 42"panasonic plasma and ps3,which are good with blu-ray,its just a shame they can do nothing to make this classic film look as .good as it deserves.I have now got a toshiba 37 inch 1080p lcd and now this film looks loads better,so i guesss it all comes down to the tv.....
