Heroes: Season 1 And 2 Box Set (9 Discs) (Blu-ray)

I got my Heroes box set on Friday (before the Monday release date - from Play).
And I must say that the picture and sound quality is much better on Blu-Ray disc, then the HD-DVD version which I also own.
The Blu-Ray discs also have the 'U Control' features from the HD-DVD version, these were suppose to be exclusive o the HD-DVD format, but somehow they work on Blu-Ray. They let you access various features (such as close up of the paintings, characters synopsis and links), while the programme is still playing. Plus you also get the Blu-Ray live feature that gives you extra trailer content (as long as your Blu-Ray player is connected to the internet, via Ethernet).
The Blu-Ray editions add up to the ultimate version of this great TV series and perfect viewing before season 3 starts on BBC 2 & BBC HD, in September 2008.

I have finally purchased this and its amazing, BLUE RAY FOREVER

Just a peace of advise to play.com, please make sure you package your heroes box sets up better, I had to return it back to you guys like 3 times and ended up gettting a refund.

What I think makes this show is the characters. Everyone has their favourite character or favourite power. Even though it has this supernatural element to it, most of the choices they make you could apply to everyday life. Series 1 is better due to it introducing the characters and it's all new to the viewer.
Series 2 was sadly shortened to 11 epsiodes thanks to the writer's strike, so to be honest you don't miss much if you missed the odd epsiode here and there.
But overall, this show is gonna grow and as long as it doesn't get complicated like Lost has, (as viewers of series 3 might be) I hope we have Heroes for a long time to come!
