Ok but not much different to the DVD release

So I bought this on DVD 1st and it is a fantastic show make no mistake about that. I upgraded to Blu-ray once I got a player and was not that impressed with the difference. Sound quality was better but the picture quality was not that much better. My advice is if you already have this concert on DVD stick to that but if your first time buying go for the blu-ray. Snakes and Arrows by Rush or Maiden flight 666 on blu-ray are the ones to beat they are what Blu-ray is all about!!

Recieved this Blu ray a while ago and it is an excellent disk. The picture and sound are awesome, feels like you are at the concert. The girlfriend was very happy. Highly recommended.

Not worth the wait for Blu Ray

Ok. So I am massive rock fan, love Foos, love muse and love metallica and ACDC. To be fair I like a good mis but wouldnt stoop below Razorlight for something I would class as music.

I got the Blu Ray last night and it aint that great. I mean it was enjoyable but there was nothing new to the Foos Format. I had bought Hyde Park and also the Skin and Bones DVD, and this isnt actaully much better.

Lets just say that Pretender is an amazing song, and when I saw them live in Nottingham it blew me away, however the energy of this song didnt come through compared to a normal concert - or maybe thats the live to DVD contrast

But I still love Dave.

  Twice the price!

Its twice the price because its blu-ray which is more money to produce and its a better quality.

However does anyone know if this is just of saturday or friday as well?

Just got this in the post this morning, finally!

The video is 1080/24p, the audio is Dolby 5.1, PCM 5.1 or boring Stereo.

Someone asked why this is £10 more and what extras are there. There are no extras, but I'd gladly pay £10 more for a beautiful high-def recording of the best gig I've ever been to in my life!
There are loads of camera angles and the sound (actually recorded by the BBC for Radio 1) is really good.

  Best Gig Ever

Ok in my 2 and a half years of going to gigs all around london and a total of roughly 70 gigs.....the saturday show of these two gigs was the best one i've ever been to. (I was lucky enough to get standing tickets for both days)

The crowd were so friendly, dave looked genuinely happy to be there, the set list wasn't exactly the same as the night before which is always nice if you're a person who sees the same band more than once on the same tour :d
I think i must of had the longest crowdsurf ever...it was about 7 minutes long and i did from the end of the runaway all the way to the front of the stage (where i was standing through all of the friday show)

But overall...a seriously good night for anyone there, new fans or old. Glad to be a part of it. Easily worth £18!

  A Must Buy Surely?

I was there Saturday night and have been waiting for this bluray release the same as everyone else, should be awesome, not sure what digital soundtrack they will use yet but should be good in HD all the same, my only dissapointment at the moment it Play.com s' price compared to elsewhere, been using them for years yet it seems that if you hunt around its available for about £13 inc delivery elsewhere! Come on play, sort it out!

  Delayed???

Anyone know if the release of this has been delayed on Blu-ray?

My Pre-Order still hasn't shipped and they are no longer accepting new orders???

It seems to have vanished from all other retailers too.
