A thrill-a-minute adventure film produced by Steven Spielberg!

When brothers Mikey and Brand learn that greedy developers are forcing their family to move, they and their friends decide to have one last, precious adventure together. The goonies is one of my all time fave kids films, loved it back in 85 love it now, but if you already have the dvd i wouldnt bother with the blu ray, true, the sound is better but not that you'd have to buy the blu ray for that reason, no extra features compared to the dvd version and as for picture quality, yes its as sharp as it'll ever be, the problem is the master film wasn't that sharp in the first place so the blu ray picture is as good as it gets which sadly is as good as the dvd. Worthy buy if you dont have the dvd, if you do, save your cash!

What a geat 80s classic. From the 2 guys who brought us Superman & E.T.. Donner & Spielberg have delivered a great kids comedy with superb characters, sets & funny lines. Funny seeing Sean LOTR Austin back all them years ago with other 80s stars such as Corey Feldman. & of course who can forget Sloth. A kind of 80s version of elephant man but with a heart of gold. Brilliant!!!
