  Amazing!

This is truly one of the best Blu-rays I've seen! Almost at level with Avatar... The picture quality is really amazing and all three movies are a joy to watch, again! And at this price, it's really a bargain! I would have loved it with DTS-HD sound instead of just True HD, but that doesn't make it a less enjoyable experience.

Everybody knows the Matrix for this price you should not hesitate to buy.
The picture is outstanding. Yes of course it could be better, but lets not forget the year the movie was made.
Excellent price , excellent product

As title the first film is brilliant and should be the only one you should watch. Just buy the first one watch that and pretend the others dont exist you will thank me.

THE MATRIX
Groundbreaking.
Brilliant movie, even if you don't understand it in parts, the effects just make the whole thing worthwhile, the slow mo and bullet time effects have still not been used in a better way 10 years later. Keanu was perfectly cast. Sadly it was all downhill for the series after this, after it seemed to get a bit too clever for itself. Shame. 5 STARS

THE MATRIX RELOADED
Looks Good but Loses It's Way
Was REALLY looking forward to this sequel when it came out at the cinema.
Due to the Awesomeness of the first movie and the hype and promise of an even better sequel with some Stunning Action Sequences.
Somehow this the 2nd instalment in the Matrix Trilogy loses it's way and leads to the downfall of the series as a whole.
Not to say that it does not have plus points, it does, namely the Mind Blowing Action Sequences, especially the 15 Minute Mash Up on the freeway.
But these are just Very Good SEQUENCES in a pretty poor Sci Fi movie.
Unfortunately worse was to come in Matrix Revolutions. 3 STARS

The Matrix Revolutions
Oh Dear. We're not in Kansas anymore are we?
How did one of the most Exciting and Promising movies in recent times, obviously I'm referring to the Original Matrix movie, end up losing it'way and finishing on a damp squib that is Matrix Revolutions. Again we have some good special effects but my interest in the story at this point was NIL.
A complete collapse by the Writers and Directors. The content of Matrix Revolutions and Matrix Reloaded make the first movie seem even better than before and also a bit of a fluke for the Directors. Very Disappointed. 2 STARS

  Magnificent!

Picture and audio is fantastic. The movies is everything from exelent to so...so. But, my biggest problem is that my player doesnt access the xtra material at all. It goes straight to the movie! Anyone else with the same problem?

Picture looks no better then DVD

(I gave 3 stars because of Blu-Ray quality not the movie! The movie is 5 stars!!!)

Being a fan of the films and owning this on DVD, I thought this would be a fantastic replacement on Blu-Ray, but it's not. The picture is grainy and the sound is only a little better too. I honestly thought the shop had put the DVD in the case by accident.

However, as I am replacing all my favourite DVD's with Blu-Rays I needed to buy it anyway. I just hoped it would of been worth it's while.

The special features on the discs are good but no different to what was on the DVDs.

So to break it down, if like me you are buying it solely for the purpose of upgrading your DVDs to Blu-Ray get it, if not, save some money and buy the DVD .

  Slightly disappointed€

I love the matrix trilogy. I found all 3 parts superb. The only problem I found is that the blu ray reproduction to be slightly grainy. Maybe I expected to much. I judge most blu ray definition quality by batman darknight which is blinding(check it out for yourselves) don't be put off though,it's a bargain price n hours of ground breaking special effects.

  Brilliant Transfer to bluray !!

I had these films on DVD originaly and the picture was very good, but the transfer to bluray is far better.
Picture 5

The matrix films are superb and like i said even better now they are on bluray.

  The best

Nothing much to say... The Matrix is one of the best trilogy of all times: the first one was simply a revolution in the world of special effects and action movies in general, the second is an adrenaline ride from start to finish and the third one nicely ties up all loose ends.
I just felt, at times, that the quality could have been better, but overall this is a great boxset at a fair price and is loaded with special features.
