  Rather lacking in magic

If you happen to be a 7-year-old girl who loves fairies, you are going to lap this up. The rest of us will find this sugar-coated candy confection slightly harder to digest. Supposedly depicting the origins of Tinker Bell and her learning curve in becoming a fairy, this actually flies completely in the face of the 1953 Walt Disney depiction of the character. Then, she was a wilful, petulant little thing... and one of the more interesting aspects of their Peter Pan movie. Here, she is all sweetness and light to the extent that your teeth ache.

  Not a classic but good

The picture and sound is amazing.. Even the opening firworks in 7.1 sounds amazing.. The story is ok and the film is good but not a classic like bugs, monster inc etc

Tinkerbell is one of the demo Blu-rays of 2008

Tinkerbell is a fascinating Disney animation that is crystal sharp as a blu-ray and the colours used are simply out of this world....The storyline is simplistic but enchanting of a little fairy well known from the Peter Pan animations but who takes on a completely different role as a new fairy with special powers in the land of Pixie Hollow where all the fairys who have special talents or gifts help nature along with it's changing faces of Spring Summer Winter and Autumn....Of course because Tinkerbell has the power to be like a Tinker and transform or make things from old bits and pieces washed up in the sunlit beach into magical objects not all fairys greet her with open arms....In fact one fairy in particular makes things very difficult for her...Probably earmarked for little girls more than boys this blu-ray would make a fantastic Christmas gift for any child... and that's guaranteed...

Just a word of warning to all. Although play say this disc has BluRay Live features they are wrong, there is no Live feature, also they state exclusive art cards, well you guessed it, nothing. The film is great for the youngsters and is one of the best picture quality BluRays i have seen, its perfect, you'll be blown away.

I'll be returning mine as i thought i was getting much more for my money.

If you can live without the missing content then you wont be disapointed. 3 stars due to content missing.
