Iron Man (2008) (2 Discs) (Blu-ray)

As a fan of superhero movies, i have been a happy man recently. The quality of these movies has increased massively over the past few years. The dark knight, spiderman and hulk movies are great improvements on previous efforts.... Can iron man keep up... Oh yes! Watched this last night on my brand new 1080p tv and was blown away with the picture quality... Amazing. Then you have the film itself. Sets up the character brilliantly, i really like stark the playboy, and you are really convinced with his epiphany. With good performances from all the actors, great special effects and cgi that is not obvious, this made for a very entertaining 2 hours. Even sets you up for an exciting sequel..... A must buy for super hero movie fans, especially on blu ray

The Blu Ray version has definately done this Film Justice. The 2nd disc with all the extras is great.
I bought the Multi Region version from the U.S.A, But people seem to have problems with the Disc 1 ( Main Film ) its all about the BD live download, which freezes on some peoples PS3. One way to sort this was to turn off your internet connection.
As i have said , this film is well worth buying. A Must !!!!!!!

Robert plays a brill job as the super hero iron man. Visuals and audio are both fantastic on blu ray. a MUST Buy

Picture is pristine. The movie is a lot of fun. I'd never read the comics or seen the cartoon. Thanks to downey's performance, its easy to jump into this world. Jeff Bridges is really good as well, and the movie zips along at a fast pace. Highly recommended.

I've been a comic fan/collector for about 6years, but up until hearing about an Iron-Man film coming out, have really not read much of Mr Starks vast body of work.
Watching this film was like the comic come-to-life Downy Jr is a PERFECT Stark. The suit looks incredible the CG work is unbelievable and at times its hard to tell whats real and whats not.
Perfect action/comic film for all the family. Bring on Iron Man 2 :D
