First off, I just wanna say......AMAZINGGGGG FILM!!!!!
I have Iron Head on nornal dvd too but my friends got me it on Blu-ray for my bday last year and OMG it is incredible on Blu-Ray!!
I ADORE the film anyway, and more importantly ADOREEEEE Robert Downey Jr!!!! He is my absolute FAVE actor and whether you like Iron Man or not you cant deny that Rob is the perfect guy to play Tony!!
Watching Iron Man again on Blu-ray completely blew me away! I swear I watched the entire thing with my mouth open! The colours are SO clear and the picture is SO good that you can actually see a zit on Robs face in one scene where you cant on the normal dvd!
I mean, I know that all Blu-rays are better quality than normal dvds but I think to truely get a feel for Blu-ray you need to see an action film. The explosions are amazing and you can see the suits in more detail!
Iron Man in itself is a must-see film, but if you can get the chance, please check it out on Blu-ray too!!

Picture is pristine. The movie is a lot of fun. I'd never read the comics or seen the cartoon. Thanks to downey's performance, its easy to jump into this world. Jeff Bridges is really good as well, and the movie zips along at a fast pace. Highly recommended.

I've been a comic fan/collector for about 6years, but up until hearing about an Iron-Man film coming out, have really not read much of Mr Starks vast body of work.
Watching this film was like the comic come-to-life Downy Jr is a PERFECT Stark. The suit looks incredible the CG work is unbelievable and at times its hard to tell whats real and whats not.
Perfect action/comic film for all the family. Bring on Iron Man 2 :D

Robert Downey Jr is the man

Saw it first day it was out and a couple after that absolutely brilliant movie, Robert Downey Jr was born to play Tony Stark the wisecracking billionaire who reinvents himself as the vengeful Iron man, with a good support cast a promising director and a sequel on the way Iron Man can be as big a series as Spiderman.
Definetly give this a look

I'm not a fan of super hero films, I find them generally lacking and boring, there to generate some cash. The new Batman films are great in my opinion and I was pleasantly pleased with Iron Man. If you watch it thinking it will be a deep film then you are wrong, there are cliched characters all the way through, however I found it entertaining with some above average effects, worth renting if curious and worthy of your time if you enjoy these Marvel Produced films. Great Blu-ray quality also.

Before seeing this movie myself, there were mutterings that it wouldn't have been anything to talk about if it was for Downey Jnr's performance. After buying the Blu-ray it's obvious to me that Iron Man would have stood up to every other superhero film very well on it's own merit, but Downey Jnr is the icing on the cake who lifts it to another level. A witty, intelligent script also allowing some improvisation by the actors ensures the characters appear authentic and believable; throw in state of the art audio and picture quality to showcase the fantastic special effects and what's not to like? For me this trumps the very good but over-rated 'The Dark Knight' and is a welcome addition to the superhero franchise.

Watched this with my dad and we both thought it was terrible, stupid that it was ever relaesed. It was so fake and you could tell half the stunts where fake and that another person had been used to do them.

Good display like all blurays.

Movie: Great Acting: Sublime Action: Outstanding Story:, script, Editing: Superlative! The BD transfer is pristine on my Panasonic DMP -BD30 & colours really have that 'Pop'. Blacks are inky & deep & Shadow delienation is incredable. The DolbyTrue HD soundtrack is TOTALLY immersive & the Musical score only boosts an already brilliant Marvel comicbook adaptaion - equal only to 'The Dark Knight' for PQ & AQ. Infinately rewatchable with a story intelligently written about a time not too far from our own. If your serious about movies & even more about owning Top Spec blu-rays - this is one that your collection should NOT be without. A Must own BD. Highly Recommended!!!

  Good movie for Blu-ray!

Ironman itself is a great movie.

For the BR its well worth the extra cash. The Blu-ray really comes into its own on this movie. I liked the scenes towards the start of the movie with the mountains in the background. Very detailed! Worth a purchase as Ive watched this movie a few times now. Some of the other comicbook movies are a let down, this isnt! Good acting, funny and very enjoyable! The only fault that I could pick is that the storyline could have been a little more solid. Although thats just me being picky, its still very good! Enjoy!
