Great movie, BTW! :-)
I have the standard edition Blu-Ray, and consider to buy this as well.

Thanks in advance.

  Must own.

Daniel Craig plays great in this Bond movie. One of the best ever. And this Delauxe Edition ig great for that price. The Blu-ray version is fantastic. This is a must own for all Bond fans.

One of the Best Bond Films if not the Best thus far.

Well I'm not going to go into the merits of who is the best Bond. To be honest, I thought that Pierce Brosnan was a perfect match for the character but then came Daniel Craig. Not only did he fit Bond's shoes perfectly in my opinion but he also showed the world that Bond is after all human. Onto the review of this Blue Ray Deluxe Edition. I have already bought the 2 disc special DVD edition but as I bought myself a Blue Ray player for Christmas, I had to have this title on Blue Ray to be able to take advantage of the superior picture quality. As another reviewer said, price was the same as the standard single disc edition so there was no difficulty in choosing. I received the disc yesterday and so far I have only watched the entire movie. Picture quality in Full HD is superb as is the audio. The special Deluxe Edition is full of added material which I will be watching little by little as soon as I will master the added benefits of Blu Ray multimedia including the picture in picture features as well as the BD Live content which is also on this disc. By the way, the picture above refers to the DVD edition with its 3 discs. the BD edition is a 2 disc collection but with an equal quality (if maybe smaller) fold out presentation box and booklet. If you have a Blue Ray player and like Bond, then make sure you don't miss this collector's edition.

  Bond will be back

I have followed James Bond since the start.
May have tried to fill the shoes after Sean Connery, the "real" Bond.
I have to admit, this felt like the real one, at last.
Get it - now!!!

  The Nuts

| | See all ExXboxer's reviews (14)

If you play poker then you will know that the nuts is the hand that cannot be beat, which is a great way to describe this film. If you dont play poker, then the nuts may be a reference to one of the harder to watch scenes in this movie. And dont worry, there is a very annoying character who will give running commentary on the poker scenes for you.

I havent watched the bonus material yet so I cant say if the Deluxe Edition is any different to the standard version, but as it is the same price on Play it seems sensible to get the version that comes with more content - I may watch it one day.

The packaging is lovely - the feel of the box just helps this disc to stand out from the collection. It also hints at the superb quality of the material inside - the Blu Ray transfer is excellent, and I could watch the free running scenes al day.

This is one of the greatest Bond titles around. Highly recommended.

  The Best Bond ever!

This has to be without a doubt the Best Bond film ever.Daniel Craig is superb in the role. This is a far more grittier, far more believable Bond than ever before.A lot of people gave Daniel a hard time before they had seen the film and boy were they wrong. The producers definately choose the right actor for the role and their decision to cast Craig is vindicated by his performance in the film. Shame on the doubters. This film introduces us to the character of James Bond just as he gets his 007 staus and embarks on his first mission as a 00.This film has everything you could want from a Bond film and more.It is full of action, excitement, betrayal and the beautiful Eva Green as Vesper Lynd, Bonds first true love. Martin Campbell did an amazing job as the director. The picture quality on the Blu Ray is simply fantastic. It is crystal clear. The are also loads of special features. It's a shame more blu rays can't be like this. The price on play is fantastic value for money.Buy it.

  Great Value!!!

By far the best Bond to date. This is Bond as it should be (and as Flemming imagined) gadget free and full of action.
