Not the greatest acting in the world but really cool Action.
I like the Bruce Lee type sounds Zen makes when she's fighting.

Just a note on the Audio, there is a error on the back cover, states there is Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio Track, but is actually 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio which sounds awesome.

I watched this in Thailand - even without any English dubbing or subtitles and loved the action. This brings back the memories of early Jackie Chan films where you know there are no stunt doubles or CGI. The young actress is great to watch, and even knowing in reality that the power delivered is greatly hyped, this didn't stop my enjoyment of the movie in the slightest - stay and watch the outtakes at the end too! If you haven't seen Tony Jaas' movies yet - (Ong Bak and Warrior King) get them too, you'll love them!!

This is one of the best martial arts films that I have seen in a while. The central idea of the leading character having autism was brilliantly realised. The opening of the film was a bit confusing, with the relationship of the main characters not made as clear as it could have been. The extras on the disc helped to fill in the details. However the extras are very repetitive. You will quickly tire of seeing the same clips and hearing the same sound bites over and over. This is the second blu-ray disc I have had from this label, and again, the picture quality is no better than DVD.

Chocolate is directed by thai director Prachya Pinkaew. He also made Ong Bak and Warrior King, so fans of those films should be pleased. The film has a good story, much better than Ong Bak and Warrior King, and the fights are jaw dropping, awesome and brutal, the best out of the three films. Very good start for new comer JeeJa Yanin as Zen. She does a good job both acting and fighting. Both Blue Ray and Dvd are great with lots of bonus features, trailers ect. I've seen a lot of fighting films lately and this is def my favorite. 10/10.

This has some of the best martial arts and stunts in it since police story for me. Jeeja yanin is superb as zin and makes you wonder how much dedication she has had to put in for this film, as have all the other people involved with the fighting sequences which are brilliant to watch. The story is a little slack in parts but still watchable. Yanin is one of the best female martial artists i have seen job well do to all involved.
