  "..AMAZING SCI-FI CLASSIC.."

Serenity is one awesome sci-fi with a brilliant story and a perfect cast, based on Joss Whedons amazing TV series firefly which only ever saw one series before it was cancelled, Serenity basically takes the whole series and gives it closure with a great ending, all the original cast is back and all with a better budget, this is a gem of a film and a must for any fan of cult classic sci-fi movies this is certainly one of them.

  OK but not that great

Found the movie a fairly average cowboys vs scifi film. Had to put the English subtitles on to understand some of what the lead character was saying.

  Great Movie, Great Extra's

This is what the 'new' Star Wars trilogy should have been like: great, funny dialogue, interesting characters and plenty of action. The disc has some very cool HiDef exclusives, so if you have the DVD, it's worth upgrading for that as well as picture quality. For best results also pick-up the 13 episode run of 'Firely' - which is a prequel in tv series format (only out on DVD so far). I want a sequel so badly it hurts.

Fantastic Sci-fi film with a fantastic cast to go with it to. Set after the events in the tv series firefly. Effects are brilliant and so is the storey. Well done Joss Whedon. I have this film and it is one of my favourites i advise you to buy it now because you will not be disappointed.

Serenity as it Should be Seen

I am a great fan of this film (and the Firefly series) and so when I upgraded to a Blu-ray play this was one of the first disks I bought.
This is a film that has scenes in it that really show what Blu-ray is capable of and makes the film even more engrossing.
I have always recommended this film and now the new format has reawaken my enthusiasm.

So at this price just buy it and enjoy.

  Even better in Blu-Ray!!

The Blu-Ray edition of the film is certainly spectacular. Both image and audio are top of the game. Certainly one of the best titles to display the power of your HD TV and home cinema.

Extras are the same as the DVD ones, with a few extra bits but nothing significant.

The disc is the european edition, so you can expect all the languages and subtitles available, apart of the english tracks. Spanish, french, italian and german are also available.

A great film for any sci-fi fan.

  The best of sci-fi

What can I say that hasn't been said already? A fantastic movie made even better with a great transfer to Blu Ray. I'd not seen Firefly before buying this movie, but it was as easy to follow as if Firefly didn't exist. I have of course now purchased The Firefly series and love it!

  An Amazing Film

I was really late coming to this series - I loved Buffy / Angel so watched the first episode on TV, and then completely dismissed it. Bought the box set years later simply because it was on offer - and completely fell in love with it.

The film is actually better than the series (which is a very difficult thing to pull off) and I can't even remember how many times I have seen it.

Such an amazing story to this film, pretty good to look as well in Blu-Ray.
