3 Are you expecting perfection? Predator No! Predator 2 Maybe!longhauler | 18/02/2010 | See all longhauler's reviews (1)The master used for the Predator disc is identical to the one for the DVD. Whether it was the intention of McT to film it in such a grainy manner - who knows. I have bought this having sold my laserdisc copy - if you are thinking of replacing your DVD - don't bother. Predator 2 on the otherhand is relatively good, but not much better than the DVD. As I love both films, I have moved on to a higher format and I am fairly happy, but for such iconic films, more effort should have been put in to providing a better transfer. Overall, I would stick to your DVD copies if you have them.
