The Mummy (Dir. Stephen Sommers) (1999): Deep in the Egyptian desert, a handful of people searching for a long-lost treasure have just unearthed a 3,000 year old legacy of terror. Combining the thrills of a rousing adventure with the suspense of Universal's legendary 1932 horror classic, The Mummy, starring Brendan Fraser, is a true nonstop action epic, filled with dazzling visual effects, top-notch talent and superb storytelling.

The Mummy Returns (Dir. Stephen Sommers) (2001): Set in 1933, ten years after the events in the first film, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) is married to Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) and the couple has settled in London raising their 9-year-old son Alex (Freddie Boath).

When a chain of events finds the corpse of Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) resurrected in the British Museum, Imhotep walks the earth determined to fulfill his quest for immortality. But another force has also been set loose, one born of the darkest rituals of ancient Egyptian mysticism and even more powerful than Imhotep. When these forces clash, the fate of the world will hang in the balance, sending the O'Connell's on a mission to save the world and their son before it is too late...

The Mummy 3 - Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor (Dir. Rob Cohen) (2008): Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress (Michelle Yeoh) to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents - Rick and Evelyn O'Connor (Brendan Frase and Maria Bello).

Ok so mummy 3 isnt too great but its not bad, the 1st mummy movie is by far the best, followed by the mummy returns (except for the annoying kid)

The blu ray versions are excellent quality, i did own the first two on hddvd and the quality is as good, not the same standard as say the dark knight but for older movies the 1st two look great.

Where this collection really shines is on the mummy 3 disc, the disc oozes bd-live extras, movie previews, a documentry about the yetti's in the movie and even a bd live community section, if you have a player that supports bd live and you want a movie to try it out then the mummy 3 is the one, much better bd live function than iron man where you get a silly quiz!

Great trilogy to own. the first one is a classic fantastic effects and story to go with it. Brenden Fraser plays his part very well as Rick O'Connor the gun ho hero. And then you got Arnold Voslco as the evil Imhotep (the mummy to most people. Also you will see Rachel Weisz as evie and her brother Johnathon played by John Hannah. They must stop Imhotep from bringing back to life his lost love and ending the world. The second brings you the same gang with a few added extras from the Rock who plays the Scorpian King, now they must stop imhotep from raising him and killing him so he can control his army which will destroy life as we know it. The third brings you the Dragon Emperor which is played by Jet Li and this is very poor compared to the first to and i would only give this 2 stars but the other two make this set a 5 star experience. Fantastic buy and a must have
