When nursery teacher Jenny escapes to the country for a relaxing weekend away with her boyfriend, she is unaware of a romantic surprise he has in store. The location is perfect. A lake enclosed by woodlands, seemingly deserted. The scene is set for a picturesque proposal. But before the happy couple can enjoy the retreat, their peace is shattered by a gang of violent youths.

What begins is a shocking and unrelenting game of cat and mouse, as Jenny is forced to fight back against her aggressors.

Top 100 Mobile Reviewer

The transfer on this BD is exemplary with pristine 1080p PQ supplemented by a fine DTS HD-Master Audio track...however - to say this is one of the finest British 'horror' movies, if thats what it is, says something about the society in which we live now. Is it supposed to be entertaining, educational or informative? The movies weakest link is its total lack of character development - do we really care about these people & the mindless thugs who inflict gratuitous & horrific violence on an innocent couple? There is no plot - no story & the harrowing finale leaves a very unsatisfied & bitter taste in you mouth & will haunt your darkest dreams. Avoid...!!!

 Take the risk....

Hmmmm....Empire give it 4 out of 5, most people on here rate it highly and only a small handful don't rate it. I think the majority of people here have good taste!

Its a disturbing and somewhat shocking if not convincing portrayal of what people are genuinely capable of. Worth watching if you don't like your films wrapped up in a fancy bow. It is guaranteed to leave its imprint on your mind for a long time after watching it.

This film when released was only on a selected cinema and me and my mates had to travel 19 mile to see it lol but i loved the film, and yes it may sound like ur typical thriller but i can assure you this film will remain in your minds forever. Because the kids are so evil it really does make it so real as to how nasty they can be in this day and age and is a little to close to home for some people. But overall its a excellent film and i would highly recommend it. But you av been warned! Lol

 Very good British film

This was a great British film which is entertaining from start to finish. For the most part this is a great film, the only negative aspect is that there are elements of unneccessary violence and cruelty which spoils it a bit. However, it is a great film and well worth a watch.
