Taken: Extended Harder Cut (Blu-ray)

So after i read all the reviews on here it seems 95% give it 5 stars and alot say its the best movie they have ever seen and im afraid my response to that would be you need to see more films.

Dont get me wrong this is a very good movie that i will watch again, but it will never be in my top 10 film list. Somebody said in another review that this is man on fire meets bourne which describes the film perfectly except for one small fact...its not as good as either of those.

I would still recommend this film, its action packed with some tense moments and good fight scenes but its not as in depth or as clever as any of the bourne films and its not as emotional as man on fire.

To sum it up go out and buy it, you will enjoy it whatever you like and an action movie fan will love it, just dont expect it to replace your favourite action movie

I had this on DVD since its release and loved the film so much so that when I got my Blu-Ray player last month this was in my top 10 rebuys on Blu-Ray.
After watching the film last night on Blu-Ray I was not left disappointed the transfer is very crisp and clear and the DTS sound transfer is spot on as well.
A superb film that as been given a great Hi-Def upgrade if you love this film and are thinking of upgrading your DVD version to Blu-Ray its well worth it as there is nothing wrong with this transfer at all.

This is one of the best action films i've seen in a long time. I thought Man on Fire was an awesome film but I think this betters it. I can't understand how anyone can give this less than 5 stars! Picture quality and sound is excellent. Buy this on blu-ray - you will not be disappointed! 11 out of 10 !!!

Taken is the best movie of its kind ever made, a first class action thriller that is fantastic from start to finish, Liam Neeson gives his best performance ever, no one has made such a great film since man on fire. this is a very worthy Blu-ray to want to buy. I would have given it 10 stars.

I don't know why I waited so long to purchase this on blu ray.
