Despite it's unfair and shockingly low box office takings on its cinematic release back in 1986 this 80's masterpiece is is honestly up there with the best family movies of all time. It is jam packed with so much fun and imagination, several great musical numbers and an awesome, creepy yet pantomime performance from Bowie, it enchanted me as a kid back in the day and now doing the same for kids today. Packed with great behind the scenes documentaries too, if you saw it as a kid you must take the nostalgia hit and see it again and introduce your children too it too, if you haven't seen it and want to see a movie that captures the wonderful 80's spirit, don't wait any longer. A true cult classic for the whole family.

 Amazing... excuse the pun

This has to be one of the most iconic films ever. Yes the special effects maybe a little dated now and yes, David Bowie's acting skills may leave a lot to be desired but the script and fantastic array of puppetry more than makes up for it. Still wish i could do that contact juggling thing with the crystals even after practising un-numbered times with oranges. Even Decades later after it's release and countless other films watched and this still remains one of my favourites.

Awesome Movie with a hint of nostalgia

Love this movie. Bought it on DVD a few weeks ago as one of my mates was singing the "babe with the power" song and it got stuck in my head. It is a truely awesome movie and the soundtrack is brilliant. An 80s cheesy hour and a half. Grab a bottle of blue nun and watch with popcorn

 Labyrinth (Blu-ray)

Labyrinth is an all time classic, it appeals to all generations of the family. It has a great score performed by David Bowie who stars as the Goblin Prince. The Heroine is played by the stunning Jennifer Connelly who shows the great acting potential that has brought her a Golden Globe, BAFTA, AFI and OSCAR.
Well worthy of 5 stars and nothing else.

 Great Film

Ignore the person who gave this 1 star?? just check out the other films they rated!! gave Pink Panther 2 a 5 star?? LOL! anyway, Labyrinth is a fun adventure film! with the Henderson magic added! if you have never seen this movie? give it a go! especially if your a David Bowie fan, its funny to see him take on the role of the bad guy :)

A must for kids and adults alike!

I loved this film as a kid and still enjoy watching it now! Can't wait till it's out on Blu-Ray - Pre- ordered it and counting down the days till Hoggle, Ludo and the rest are on screen in glorious HD!! Music and acting by David Bowie is great and Jennifer Connolly looks beautiful as ever. Jim Henson's at his finest!

 A Goblin King among men...!

I love this film! I saw it when I was a boy, and loved it then, and it's one of onl a handful of films that I've been able to go back to as an adult and still be able to enjoy it! I loved David Bowie's music for the film, and it also has the beautiful Jennier Connolly to recommend it! Ludo is just such a loveable character, and kids will adore him! Sir Didymus borders on being a bit of a Jar-Jar Binks character, but manages to be more likeable than annoying! It's got a bit of a "Wizard of Oz" vibe to it (was it real, or all in her head?), but I think this film is still well worth a look, and I think this is truly a family film, ie adults will enjoy it as much as kids! And a wee bit of trivia for you, too...: The choreography was done by Gates McFadden, Beverly Crusher in Star Trek TNG, and two of the fire demons were Danny John-Jules (Cat in Red Dwarf), and Charles Augins, who appeared as Queeg in the episode of the same name in Red Dwarf! Pointless, but true!
