The Matrix (Blu-ray)

This is certainly one movie anyone should own!! An outstanding sci-fi movie with so much originality, at this price you dont just get a great film you get the best version going! It has all the special features from any previous version on DVD and is also uncut so runs about 7mins longer! Awesome picture quality too! MUST HAVE BLU-RAY

Brilliant movie, even if you don't understand it in parts, the effects just make the whole thing worthwile, the slow mo and bullet time effects have still not been used in a better way 10 years later. Keanue was perfectly cast. Sadly it was all down hill for the series after this, after it seemed to get a bit too clever for itself. Shame

yes this is the uncut version, including the headbutts. the print is pristine..and it has all the extras of the 10th anniversary edition, just different artwork.

first, the first, and far best of the trilogy.brilliant story and effects, before things went pear-shaped in the awful sequels.
but... we know about the film, what about the blu ray transfer? well, im pleased to say, its magnificent! the sharpness,and detail shown, such as the pores of the skin,and sweat,adds to the grimyness of the world of the matrix. the sound is superb.do not hesitate,take the red pill, and enter the matrix- on blu ray!

Watched this movie for the first time ever tonight and its absolutly amazing. Not seen the other 2 yet but the first one is top class! You have to focus 100% on the movie though and don't try to do other things. That is the reason most people do not like or do not get it. Concentrate on it and don't miss anything said and you will absolutly love it! This is not a film to watch with a load of friends while drinking beers. You need to be in complete silence either on your own or with other who will be just as interested
