In the year 2707, Earth's natural resources have been exhausted by mankind. Battle rages between the soldiers of four leading Corporations: Capitol, Bauhaus, Mishima and Imperial. When the violence breaks an ancient stone seal, Necromutants appear and begin to multiply by the millions, destroying all before them.

The Corporation's leader, Constantine (John Malkovich), is about to abandon the planet and leave countless innocents to their desperate fate, when he is approached by Brother Samuel, leader of the Brotherhood, an ancient monastic order who offers hope to the discouraged leader. Against the odds Constantine entrusts brother Samuel and other like minded soldiers to save them from the mutant armies.

I actually quite enjoyed the film despite the style issues. Cgi intense. Baddies who look the same as bad guys in blade 2 and i am legend, shot in cgi studio in a cross style of sky captain back drops and sin city (for the really bright red blood spray) plot is good v evil save the world, team of soldiers formed from warring factions to come together and put differences aside etc etc. I would say if you liked blade 2, league of extraordinary gentlemen, sin city, sky captain and hell boy etc you will probably enjoy this. Not the greatest film but didn't leave me feeling i had wasted a couple of hours . I will watch again. Very dark film so not the greatest on blu-ray

 Ok film

Please don't miss out on this film because of other peoples reviews. Its not great but i've seen alot worse.
it is true to say that with such a low budget they did quite well with the cgi but with such a strong leading cast it makes you wonder what they saw in it.
All i'd say is give it a chance you may be surprised.

 A Waste of Time

When I saw the trailer for this and the cast I was really looking forward to it but having seen it now its a real real let down.

Shot for next to nothing in front of a green screen the whole thing, even the sets just look fake, the script is nonesense, the action passable at best and blood (maingly CGI blood) seems to have been used purely to pump up the certificate rating than contribute to the action scenes and the running and fighting just gets boring after a while.

Considering the tiny budget I have to commend the makers for stretching it as far as they did and the opening battle is pretty good even if the special effects look like the CGI scenes you see in computer games between levels.

Dont be fooled by the cast in this film clearly they were all on holidays for a few weeks and did this for a laugh

What A Waste Of A Good Idea

This film is quite simply - terrible. I was actually looking forward to this a lot - the idea behind it seemed so good.

Just doesn't deliver - sorry I ever watched it, let alone bought it.
