Bedtime Stories: Double Play (Blu-ray)

This is not Adam Sandler's best movie. I thought it was OK but if I was a kid then I know that I would love this movie.
I wasn't impressed with Russel Brand's performance either. Not funny in any scene.
The Blu ray has some great features on it and it's more informed for kids viewing than adults.

Makes a change to watch a good,clean,innocent family film.Although the "dreams come true" aspect of the movie seems to miss a trick in my eyes,still an enjoyable watch for the whole family.You get a dvd in the box with the BD disc as well(for the kids to watch over and over),what a bargain.
Visuals are good,sound is adequate ,although I found the vocals a little quiet at times.Overall,a very "nice film"for any age.

I totally agree with the previous reveiwer's comments. There is something for all the family with nothing scary for youngsters. There are enough laughs for adults and kids alike and there is a nice quality cast of actors who clearly enjoy the clever scripting.
Picture and sound is very good. For bass-heads there are some good moments and although the surrounds are not overly active the front sound stage is nice and busy. Bundling in a regular dvd with the higher res blu ray makes this a no brainer for a family movie. The kids will definitely be watching it over n over again!

Having just bought this on Blu-Ray from Play.com i thought it would be good to give it a quick review.
The film is very good i was unsure on what to expect as Sandlers last few films have been somewhat of the boil but this is a charming familt comedy.
Adam Sandler is back to his funny self Russell Brand is actually really good as Sandlers sidekick pal in this flick and the adventures are really good fun.
The kids will love it and adults that are big kids like me will enjoy the fun too.
Plus the good thing is for this price you get a Blu-Ray copy and a DVD copy also great value for money at this price go on treat your family to a great family adventure.
