When disgraced President Richard Nixon agreed to an interview with jet-setting television personality, David Frost, he thought he'd found the key to saving his tarnished legacy. But, with a name to make and a reputation to overcome, Frost became one of Nixon's most formidable adversaries and engaged the leader in a charged battle of wits that changed the face of politics forever.
Featuring brilliant portrayals by Frank Langella and Michael Sheen, Frost/Nixon is the fascinating and suspenseful story of truth, accountability, secrets and lies.

Wasnt sure I'd enjoy a 2 hour movie primarily based on a 30 year old interview ,but to my surprise I did.Frank Langella and Michael Sheen are exceptional in the two lead roles and the movie builds to a thrilling climax.Picture and sound are very good BD standard.Made a pleasant change to watch a thought provoking movie without explosions and CGI.
Amazing

Frost/Nixon (2008) is an intense real-life drama based on the play by Peter Morgan. Its features powerhouse performances from two terrific actors, Frank Langella and Michael Sheen.
The plot is a retelling of TV personality David Frost (Sheen) and his post-watergate television interviews with disgraced former President Richard Nixon (Langella).
The supporting cast features talented actors such as Sam Rockwell, Kevin Bacon, Toby Jones, Rebecca Hall and Oliver Platt but they are all blown into the background by Sheen and in particular Langella.
Director Ron Howard (Far & Away) does a solid if maybe a little workman like job of turning the former stage play into a motion picture. Its a well made movie but just lacking a little bit of cinematic flair. Howard does though keep the tense pressure building right through to the climatic ending.
The blu-ray DVD looks and sounds great. There's a few interesting documentary's and a decent commentary from Ron Howard.
