Life is going nowhere for Shaun. He spends his life in his local pub, The Winchester, with his best mate Ed, has issues with his Mum and neglects his girlfriend Liz.

When Liz dumps him, Shaun finally decides to get his life in order. He must win back the heart of his girlfriend, repair his relationship with his mum and face up to the responsibilities of adulthood. Unfortunately, THE DEAD are returning to life and attempting to eat the living. For the newly inspired Shaun, this is just another obstacle. In the face of a full scale ZOMBIE EPIDEMIC, armed with a cricket bat and spade, Shaun sets out with Ed in tow, to rescue his mum and grudgingly his step-dad, his girlfriend and even more grudgingly her friends David and Dianne and take them to the safest most secure place he knows, The Winchester.

If you love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost from Spaced, the old TV show, you will love this!

Basic story - two friends find themselves in the middle of a random zombifying illness, which is turning everyone around them into..you guessed it..zombies! Shaun (Pegg) has had a fall out with his girlfriend, she's across town and they need to form a plan to get her, get his mum and hide somewhere safe until 'it all blows over'

Easier said than done!

A few cameo's in here too, from Penelope Wilton (she played Herriet Jones, Prime Minister in Doctor Who), Jessica Hynes - who was also in Spaced - among others.

It's funny, it's quite tense in places; make no mistake, this still can be a scary film in places, certainly enough to make you jump now and again.

But it is very, very funny and you need this bluray in your collection!

" and your mum asked me to eat her out " hahahaha!!!!

Good sound and picture quality.
I can confirm the language setup as it is described in the product information provided by play.com But they forgot to mention that the subtitles are also available in dutch.

 Another Pegg / Frost Classic

Liked this film alot for all sorts of reasons. It's a zombie classic and one of the greatest black comedies ever made, bar Hot Fuzz.. Ther's a pattern forming there...... There are so many great elements to this movie so I will just advise that if you haven't already then do, If you have already than you probably already have... if you see what I mean. Cracking good romp and a keeper for sure.

 Hilarious!

Knowing these cast of people I know this would be another funny movie! Story-wise not that good but the brilliant looks of every people and undead will astound you especially because this is in 1080p HD format. After viewing this try Hot Fuzz! \m/
